Maureen Googoo is a reporter, editor, video journalist, and more recently, an online news writer.
Maureen has more than 20 years of reporting experience for newspaper, radio, television and new media. She gained that experience by working for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Halifax Chronicle-Herald newspaper and the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network.
Maureen has a Master of Science from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Mary's University.
Maureen is Mi'kmaq from the Indian Brook First Nation (Shubenacadie Band) in Nova Scotia, Canada. |
